James' job has allowed him opportunities that we could only imagine a year ago.  One of those opportunities was a trip to go ice climbing this past February.  Petzl often takes their employees out so they can use and understand the products that they are working with.  James loves this kind of stuff and it was been a real blessing for him.

This trip took them up Little Cottonwood Canyon.  I don't remember the name of this particular ice climb, but it does have a name and is somewhat popular in the area.  Most of these pictures are of fellow coworkers, but these are James' boots looking down.  Don't slip!

Here's a beautiful view of the valley.  I think this was taken only half way up the climb.  There was a delay in the morning because of an avalanche clean up in another part of the canyon, so they didn't get to climb as far as they had liked.  I'm sure there will be other opportunities.
