Come on a short trip back to January with me...the beloved Groupon had a deal in which you could buy a family pass to the Ogden Dinosaur Park for $20 good for a whole year. If you've ever seen their prices, you know that this is an excellent deal. I figured if we went one and a half times, it would pay for itself, so I bought it. I was at home sick one day in January, so James decided to stay home from work and take the kids to check out this park so I could rest.
They went. They came home. They told me they had lots of fun.
February, March..April....May......June........
I couldn't convince them to go back. So, I guess amid all the "fun" they had that day in January, the memories of the dinosaur sounds had stuck in their heads and grown even louder.
Some friends had also bought the pass when we did and finally got around to wanting to use it this summer. We thought it was a great excuse to get the kids back up there and use our pass again. James did his best to convince them that they really did like the dinosaur park, no matter what they said about it. But, before we left the house, Hailey went and grabbed our ear plugs out of the drawer.
Here are their poor little faces before we got into the park:
You can see that Hailey is smiling and Thomas is not. You see, I only had three of the four ear plugs. Thomas had to go with only one in his ear. He was able to improvise though...
He was all smiles with that finger stuck in his ear. You can see the little yellow bud of the one ear plug in the other side.
I tried to trick him here. I told him to raise up his hands. He did, but quickly placed his arm over the unplugged ear.
Honestly people, it's not like the dinosaurs are making all that much noise. But, I guess it's scary to little people. Especially my very timid little people.
And here is this week's dinocast brought to you by the Spikiwhykisaurs...

your videos still are not showing up, I think you need to make them public on the youtube page.
Okay this is hilarious. I love that Thomas can't stop plugging his other ear. What a stud! And their faces before you walked in...classic! I am glad you at least made it back though. LOL.
