Today has been a good day. I told the kids this morning that if we all worked together really hard picking up the house that we could go and play outside in the water together. So, after a couple of timeouts so that they knew I meant business, Thomas and Hailey got on the same page as myself and we got the house picked up and we were ready to play. Miles must have understood my deal too because he took an early nap while we picked up. That's probably the real reason we were able to accomplish our goal.
So, after we did the hard work, we all got on our swim gear and headed out to the back yard to enjoy the warm sun!

The video below is mostly for Grammy. She was on the phone with me hearing all the commotion. I wanted her to see it. You can also see Miles eyeing the spraying water and trying to find a way to get to it. It also illustrates how Thomas often does not hear his mom when I ask him to do things. To give him credit though, he did try hard not to get the towels wet, which is really the only reason why I wanted him to move.
Now I just have a date with Jammers to look forward to!

Yea for swimming. We have spent a lot of time in our backyard doing that same thing. I love Miles in his swimsuit too. How cute is that!
