New Bike Trailer!

With the coming of spring, we have been eager to get out and do things. James has been wanting a bike trailer for a while and we finally went out and treated ourselves now that the weather has warmed up. We have had soooo much fun with it since we got it, especially since we found a nice asphalt bike trail about 2 miles down the road from our house. If we head south on the trail for about a 15-20 minute bike ride, we end up at the Syracuse City Pond. This is where we took Thomas fishing for his birthday last September. We went there last night for our FHE activity and we're not sure if we'll be doing that so soon again because of the bugs! There were so many swarms of huge gnats all over the place. We probably got our daily protein in just from the bike ride. :) I was grateful that the kids has a mesh cover protecting them. Our next adventure will be to head north on the trail to see where it takes us.

I've also found that biking is a great cross training exercise for my injured knee. I'm finding that the more I bike, especially after I run, the more my soreness fades and is almost eliminated. It's been a wonderful plus for my Wasatch Back training.

If you look really closely at this pciture you can see a bunch of tiny black dots, especially on the sidewalk. This is just one of them many swarms of gnats.

Hey Ann! That is an awesome bike trailer! How fun, we will have to come up and ride with you guys sometime. You guys are welcome to come over anytime. We are free most of this week. Maybe we can get together tomorrow night and watch the office. We will give you a call later and work out all the details.
