Every-once-in-a-while we get the cousins together for a little play date. This particular day we went to Abby's and Eric's house to have a farm day. We first took a walk over to their neighbor's house to watch her animals. She had baby lambs (sorry I didn't get a picture of them), a few roosters and some horses. My kids loved the lambs and roosters, but they were both very afraid of the horse, espcially when he started to get close to us. However, the biggest attraction were the toys in the yard. Atleast they're easy to please. When we got back to the house we planted some seeds and ours have already started to sprout.

This week we also got a book from the library called, Seeds, Seeds, Seeds by Nacy Elizabeth Wallace. We've gotten her books before and we love them! I highly recomend them for all you moms out there. Your kids will learn words like germinate and embryonic plant. Thomas has really been noticing all the foods that have seeds in them ever since we read this book.
