Alright, I'm here to settle the debate...Who does Miles look like?
Here is a picture of James:
Here is a picture of Ann:
Here is Mckay:
Out of these three, here is my opinion. He's got my face shape and nose, James' eyes. I'm having a hard time with the ears, we both kind of have floppy ears. And it's hard to tell with the hair, I'm bald still and James has a hat on, but looking at old pictures of James, he and Thomas have more of the same hair and not Miles, so we'll give that point to Mckay, since he actually has hair in his picture.
Thomas:
Hailey (I wish I had a picture of her in the same position, but I don't):
Miles and Hailey share the same face shape and eye shape. I'm not really sure where Thomas got his ginormous eyes from. It's got to be from the Bradley side though. I'll claim all of their cute noses. Thomas' lips and Miles' lips are almost identical. I say the lips came from James, but it's hard to tell because he's smiling in his baby picture and Thomas and Miles are not. Miles' ears stick out more than the other kids. And Hailey and Miles share the same hair line and fuzziness. Miles just has more hair than Hailey did. But, Thomas and Miles have the same hair color. You can't really tell in this picture, but each of their eye colors or different. Thomas' are brown, Hailey's are blue, and Miles' have been a slate color, but are slowly turning brownish. But, not the same brown as Thomas. You can see the difference is the pictures.
The Barrows think he looks like a Bradley. The Bradleys think he looks like a Barrow. Some think he looks just like James, others, just like Thomas. And still others tell me he doesn't look like Thomas at all. And still others think he looks just like my brother McKay.
Aren't blogs fun? I wouldn't have been able to do this in any other format. So, here goes nothing.
Here is Miles. He has a round face shape, almond shaped eyes, floppy ears, a little round nose, equally little lips, and really fuzzy hair (hands down everyone's favorite feature). Don't you just want to pinch those chubby little cheeks and squeeze those chubby little legs? (I wish those features were still cute when you were my age, but ahh, I digress in the focused topic.)

So, as I've always said, Miles is a great mix of all of us.

All I can say is...All of your kids are adorable!
I think Ann and James look amazingly alike. LIke I've said, "The son I never had."
I've always thought couples tend to look like one another, especially as they age. Just look at the general authorities and their wives. It's truely amazing how much they all resemble eachother.

I think Miles looks like James still - but not baby James... I also think Miles looks like you when you were a baby - so he must be a great mix of the two of you... and seriously the hair gets me every time I see him. i just want to rub it! I LOVE his hair - so CUTE!
Thanks for the pictures Ann, this cleared things up nicely! :) He looks just like you as a baby with that round face. Maybe a little of Mckay still, but mostly you. And he looks like nothing like Thomas or Hailey, they all have their own look going on there. Or maybe it is the round face that throws it all off...?!? Either way, he is adorable and I can't wait to see the little one again!
P.S. I stole your halloween candy chain idea. Fabulous! Ryland loved helping to make it and it is a great way to have some control over what he is eating. Thanks for the idea. So great.
