I just wanted to write a little tribute to my wonderful husband on his birthday. As I sit here I'm looking at a photo (the one posted) that was taken of us just after we were engaged which happened to be right before his birthday. It's hard to believe that these years have flown by so quickly! It's also hard to express the deep gratitude that I have for James. He works so hard to keep me happy and always knows just what to say to get that smile back on my face. He's willing to go out each and every day to provide for our family. Sometimes he talks about how he wishes that he could provide more for our family, but I am completely satisfied with what we have. We have been blessed with so much. My favorite time of day has to be when James comes home and (after my welcome home kiss, of course) plays with the kids. I love to hear their squeals when dad tackles them or when he plays a quick game of hide and seek. Some days it's all I can do to make it until dad gets home. He's my relief and my support system. He's recently become my running partner and we have fun pushing each other to run farther and longer. Although we rarely take runs together anymore, we love to compare routes and muscle pains. Running has never been more fun. Although the day to day routine may seem mundane and boring, we manage to find many opportunities to create lasting memories. He's my joy. Happy Birthday Jammers! I love you!

James,
I think there is a 6 month grace period on Happy Birthday wishes. Sorry, but your birthday just fell at the wrong time this year. We love you and are so glad you are part of our family. Thanks again for letting your family come and be with us this Spring.

Love,
Mary Lee

What wonderful memories. Come again soon - maybe in your new van.
