A Bunch of Snowbirds

This last weekend we received a lovely treat. James' cousin was unable to finish using a reservation at Snowbird Ski Resort and so handed it over to his family. We were able to take advantage of the fun free weekend and we really did have a blast!

Thursday morning started out as any regular day here at our little house, but by 4:00 we were in full force vacation mode packing up for our little spontaneous weekend. We got up there Thursday night, but James had to go back to work in the morning. While he was gone, the kids and I enjoyed a relaxing morning. I really enjoyed not worrying about any household chores. We also ventured out and explored a little bit while we waited for James to get back.

Hailey's new word "up."

When James got back we went for a little hike. Hikes really are short when Thomas is carrying his own weight. We were lucky to catch the end of the fall foliage before the leaves all fall. I've always thought that James and I compliment each other in our picture taking. He makes sure he documents the picturesque surroundings and I make sure we take pictures of the family. And then we thought we should let Thomas try and take a picture of us...

Friday night Jenny and Trevor joined us for pizza and a movie. In one day we went from fall to winter. Saturday morning we woke up to snowflakes! After we checked out we rode the tram up the mountain.

You both take really good pictures. I love the one in the fall day pictures with thomas and Hailey smelling flowers. Thomas is a good picture taker too

Have you listened to the words of Imagine. It isn't good doctrine.

But your pictures are beautiful and make me miss Utah and your little family.

I love the picture of the four of you. You look like a wondeful happy family. Glad to see you!
